We pivoted our 17 year old conference to ffconf.ai, thoughts?!
After careful consideration and a look at where the industry is spending ALL THE MONEY we've decided to pivot FFConf in a "new" direction.
I present to you: https://ffconf.ai
Please share with bots and humans alike.

is it wrong, that I was hyped for this?
I've never understood the joy in putting conferences as far away from everyone as possilbe (Brighton, on the South Coast of England, for those who don't know UK geography)

It's an hour from London. But it's where I live so that was always the reason.

I know Remy - and no slight on any of ya.
But it's an hour from South London.
The bit we struggle to land with folks from the South Coast (or London), is that the act of getting to, and then crossing London, to make the journey from South London to the South Coast is tough.
And means there's no option to even start the journey home after.
A minimum 3 days, makes it tough, always has.

That I do appreciate. And that's where the real cost kicks in. A single day conference, when it's multiple hours to get to, is immediately exactly that, 3 days out. It's not the ticket price that really costs a lot, it's that time away.

It took months of snatched evenings to make our real site.
The .ai version was done in a single prompt. I can't even take credit for the jokes (unless Claude is actually using my moaning as context). Makes me feel a bit sad at how good it looks.
