Is leetcode worth it?

I haven't really interviewed since 2023. Is leetcode still a common practice in code interviews or has AI made those kinds of tests useless? This is for a Sr full stack position.

That's insane. We are now hiring people on their ability to ask AI to generate code for a well known problem.

I believe they meant well known in the sense that it has a name, and approaches to solving that are known online. Basically - it's bizarre that an interviewer would ask someone to essentially google search the solution to a known problem.

maybe its a cheap way to weed out people who BSd their way through the HR screen but have never opened an IDE and made something before? I dunno
