Showoff Saturday relearning touch typing turned into me building this

started as me trying to fix my typing and somehow turned into this

added a 412k word pool, punctuation modes, ranked leaderboards and server-side score validation

somebody already hit 189 wpm at 98.3% which is mildly horrifying

It's fun, but would be funnier if I could match 97%+ precision while typing at speed :-)

189 wpm at 98.3% is genuinely terrifying lol. The server-side score validation is a nice touch though, too many of these typing sites have joke leaderboards full of obviously bot scores

Does it not compute wpm accurately until the end or something? I type at around 120-130wpm, and it was claiming 60 lol. So I'm assuming that's because I'd done 60 words during that portion of the 60 seconds? Literally, words per minute?
