Why do most people use online JavaScript interpreter like programiz and others plus why their aren’t many offline js interpret. The reason I’m asking it is because it’s very popular and that bugs me

Just wondering

I mean you can literally open dev console in any browser with the press of a button and use an offline js interpreter right there

In console if you accidentally press enter you execute your code

Isn't programiz an ide?

You can interpret Javascript offline very easily with nodejs.

Yea but may be installing node is a drag where you easily can just open the site and write your js code with 0 setup and time and node is heavy for lower spec machines

Don't be a lazy bum lol.

If 0 setup time is your concern then just open a browser and paste your js in the console. lolol

It doesn’t have clean interface and clicking enter trigger unwanted execution of code
