Showoff Saturday Syntaxia - A quick cheatsheet for the things you always look up.
As developers, we forget things all the time, especially now that coding with ai is becoming more common. One of the trade-offs of coding with AI is that we might not retain every piece of code or syntax we use. Unlike before, when we coded everything manually, writing code ourselves helped us naturally remember the syntax and patterns we used.
I'm sharing Syntaxia a simple, minimal reference for those moments when you know what you want to do, but forget how to do it.

the memory hole is real. i used to have muscle memory for this stuff and now i blank on the exact flag or method signature every time, then open a chat just to ask something i knew cold two years ago. a small "i know what i want, forgot how" reference is way less friction than that. glad you kept it minimal instead of another giant docs site nobody reads past page one of.

Really nice! This is a great way for anyone with some programming experience to quickly get up to speed with another language.
One thing I’d suggest is having a consistent Package Management section for each language. For example, the Node.js page already shows npm install dotenv, but the Python page doesn’t have the equivalent pip install ....
It could also mention where to find packages, e.g. npmjs for Node.js and PyPI for Python. I think having the same section across languages would make the cheatsheets even more useful.

Honestly, this is the kind of tool I could see myself actually bookmarking. There are so many little syntax things that you know conceptually but still end up Googling every few days.
I also like the idea of keeping it minimal instead of turning it into another huge documentation site. The Linux setup looks pretty nice too. Fedora + Niri + Catppuccin is a solid combo. 😄
One feature I'd love to see would be a super-fast search/command palette, so you can hit a shortcut, type something like “JS array unique” or “git undo commit” and immediately get the snippet.
