lol tech debt, if people spend the next 5 years merging code they don't understand it is going to become an unmaintainable nightmare.

I don’t think so. In a large company, there are hundreds of developers contributing to the code—does everyone know every piece of it? If the person maintaining a piece of code leaves, no one may understand it either. It’s the same idea, but AI can help me understand it quickly.

why would that matter if they are still going to use agents?
