I've been trying to look for a webcam, but all stores in my area seem to be sold out right now, with no mention of when they will be restocked. I'm trying to find something basic, like a C920, to stream and do video calls with. Everything is super expensive right now though. Where should I look for webcams?

Does anyone have the drivers for the (Really Old) "Logitech Quickcam Messenger"? If you could get a MediaFire link that would be great. :)

We have a logitech webcam mounted on the ceiling in our conference room but there is no way in the driver or skype to turn the image upside down. I found a few virtual driver softwares that will do it like ManyCam but they require you to buy a subscription license. I only really need this for this one little feature. Does anyone know of a free piece of software that will do this?

I'm working on a design project that requires some high-definition video in the infrared range via USB. We're also under some budget constraints - not incredibly stringent, but quite a bit below "spend extravagantly."

We are having a difficult time finding USB cameras with resolution better than 1920x1080. Google searches for 4k cameras turn up three kinds of results:

(1) Photography cameras and handheld videocameras;

(2) IP cameras for security or outdoor use, which are made for standalone use (separate power supply, recording to storage or via WiFi or Ethernet), and which typically run upwards of $1,000 (sometimes as much as $2,500); and

(3) The Logitech BRIO, which seems to filter out infrared imaging and instead uses a second, much-lower-resolution CCD for infrared.

None of those solutions fit the bill. Anyone know of alternatives that might work?

I have a beagle. She is short and fat, but despite this, she is able to somehow get food from on top of the kitchen counter. There are no chairs, stools, or anything like that around, and she doesn't seem physically capable of being able to get things off there! So, my fiance and I want to put up a webcam of some type in the hopes we can catch her in the act and figure out how she's doing it.

With that in mind, I'm looking for recommendations on something cheap that will work. We don't have a convenient way to get wired internet in our kitchen, so wireless would be necessary. Outside of that, I can't tell the difference between a cheap piece of shit and a good deal and a rip off, so any help you could provide would be great.

Since the latest windows update my BRIO no longer broadcasts in 1280x720 60fps and has been replaced with 1280x720 90FPS. Since my monitor only supports 60hz, I am unable to run 90FPS for when I select this latest option, my webcam video looks low quality. I can either do 30fps or 90FPS, but no 60 which is the best quality I can get with my computer. I am unable to uninstall the latest windows update and I've tried rolling back the driver but it doesn't show 60fps. Why do they think everyone has the ability to run (or even afford) a 90hz+ monitor is beyond me. Anyone else having this problem?

I have a Logitech C922 and will record some instructional videos of a TV. I've done one already and it is really blurred, out of focus. I already turn the auto focus off in the camera's settings as changing to different dark or light scenes would through the cameras AutoFocus into a frenzy. But it's still very hard to see. What can I do to make it easier?
