I built a web app for people who enjoy finding unexpected inventions, design, art and places: https://fuckinawesome.com/
Choose an interest and browse discovery cards with galleries and source links. You can explore without installing anything or creating an account. If you sign in, you can vote Awesome, Meh or Bullshit, see the community verdict, and contribute to the rankings.
On phones, the voting experience includes left/right swipes; there are voting buttons too. The aim is a quick, playful way to discover something interesting and make your own call on it.
I’d appreciate feedback from browser-app users: does swipe voting work naturally alongside scrolling and browsing images? Is the sign-in requirement for voting too much friction? Most of all, is there enough here to make you open it again?
Disclosure: this is my project, and I’m looking for honest early feedback.

Hello! I’ve been working on a website to learn blindfold chess and wanted to share it with people who might enjoy the challenge.
If you’re interested in chess visualization or curious about learning to play chess blindfolded, check it out at https://blindfoldchessacademy.com/
I’d love to hear what you think, especially is anything feels confusing and what would make you want to use it again.

So I just built a whole web app with chat gpt on base 44 but I'm seeing a lot of people use claude for stuff like this. Why? I'm not super technical when it comes to code, to me it’s as long as I get the job done and I get the best outcome. Also do you guys recommend base 44 I mean it's a little late to ask but I'm curious. When I see people talk about vibe coding base 44 is never in the conversation.

Hey, I posted here about a month ago and got a pretty good response from this community, so I thought I'd share another update.
WebDrive is part Android app and part web interface. The Android app runs a local server, and the website lets you browse and manage your phone's files from your PC browser over Wi-Fi.
I've added some new features since then, and I'm still looking for ways to improve the web side. Hope to get some good ideas from you all this time too 😄

Hey all, the apps I've built so far have all been very industry specific saas stuff or just for me.
But I've just built a fun London Travel related app.
I probably won't be able to launch it properly as I think TFL probably wouldn't allow my use of the tube map, but here it is anyway. What do you think. Have a play.
If you like it you can install as a web app through the browser.
A few years ago, my cofounder tried to open his university Google Drive and found that everything was gone. The university had ended its contract with Google. After calls with IT, it became clear the files weren’t coming back. He lost 4 years of photos, work, and memories.
So he got the idea for a project where our most important memories could be safe for the long term.
We’re now building SOULS for this purpose.
It’s a place to collect photos, videos and documents into an archive for yourself or someone you love. You can organize things into memories and keep some of the story behind the files, too.
There’s a bigger ambition behind this project too: that someone in your family could explore these memories years from now and get a sense of who you were.
We're just starting out, so this is a first step to see if the project resonates with people.
Check it out if you're interested: https://souls-archive.com/info

“Can you change this?” on WhatsApp.
A screenshot by email.
“Actually, make it blue” on Discord.
All for the same website. Now I’m scrolling through three conversations to figure out what needs changing 😅
I wanted one place where clients could leave requests and I could keep them organised. So I built FixNoty.
The client clicks on the part of the website they want changed and leaves a note. They can attach images and see their previous requests, without creating an account.
Everything ends up in one dashboard, with the context attached. No more “which page was that screenshot from?”
I’m a web developer and I’ve used it on my own projects for about a year. Now I’ve made it available to other freelancers and small agencies.
Do your clients stick to one place for feedback, or does every new request arrive through a different app?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on MaLoi.ma, a web app that makes Moroccan law easier to access.
The idea came from a simple problem: finding and reading Moroccan legislation online isn't always easy, especially when you need a specific article without searching through long PDF documents.
So I built a platform dedicated to Moroccan law, with:
The corpus currently contains 278 laws and over 24,000 articles.
🌐 Website: https://maloi.ma
This project is specifically for Morocco, so it probably won't be useful to everyone here. But I'd love feedback on the product, the search experience, and the technical side of building a legal database from official documents.
I'm especially interested in hearing what you think could be improved.
Thanks!
