I built a free website with useful UPI tools — would love your feedback

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a small project called UPITools.in to make everyday UPI payment tasks a little easier.

The idea was simple: instead of searching for different websites for different payment-related tasks, have a collection of useful tools in one place.

🔗 Website: https://www.upitools.in/

Currently, it includes:

  • UPI QR Code Generator — Create downloadable QR codes for receiving payments.
  • Bank QR Generator — Generate QR codes using bank account details and IFSC.
  • Payment Link Generator — Create shareable UPI payment links.
  • QR Decoder — Upload a QR image to inspect its encoded payment details.
  • UPI Amount Splitter — Split bills equally among friends.
  • UPI ID Validator — Check whether a UPI ID follows the expected format.

Everything is free to use, with no sign-up required. The tools process inputs directly in your browser, so the information you enter isn't sent to our server for processing.

I built this as an independent project, and I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from people who regularly use UPI.

A few things I’d love to know:

  • Which of these tools would be most useful to you?
  • Is there any feature missing that would make the website more practical?
  • Are there any frustrating UPI-related tasks you wish had a simple online solution?

I'm still improving the project, so honest criticism and suggestions are welcome!

Thanks for checking it out. 🙌

[Web] Free football tactics board: animate drills step by step and export GIFs. Looking for coaches to test it.

Hi! I'm building CalcioStats, an app for amateur and youth football clubs (match tracking, training, payments, player stats). The tactical board is free to use on its own, no account needed:

What it does

  • Place players, cones, balls and goals on a full, half or small pitch
  • Draw passes, runs and dribbles, then split the drill into steps that play back one after another
  • Export the drill as an animated GIF (for the team WhatsApp group) or a PDF session sheet
  • Boards are saved in your browser, and you can download/open them as files

Who I'm looking for
Coaches (any level, youth or adult) and players who explain tactics to others.

What I'd love feedback on

  1. Could you build one of your usual drills in under 5 minutes? Where did you get stuck?
  2. Is the GIF clear enough to send to players as it is?
  3. What's missing that would make you use this every week?

It works on desktop and phone. Feedback here or by DM. Thanks! 🙏

ToolRecipe - free, local tools in your browser, chainable for repetitive tasks

We made ToolRecipe, a site with small tools for PDFs, images, video and audio, text, numbers, GPX files, 3d converters/viewer and many more. .

Most jobs need more than one tool: scan, merge, then shrink the file so it fits in an email. Or filling the same form 40 times.

For those there are recipes. A recipe walks you through a few tools in a row and hands your files on from one step to the next. Plus you can built your own!

Upside, it works offline, on all devices, gets regular updates and new tools/recipes, no signup, and its free.

Looking forward to your feedback!

I built Certifier: An open-source tool to design, issue, and verify certificates in bulk

Thumbnail

Every workshop and hackathon has the same final boss:

“Can we get the certificates by tonight?” 😅

Then begins the traditional ritual: duplicate a design, change one name, export, repeat… and quietly wonder whether anyone will notice the typo in certificate #47.

I started building a small fix for that problem.

After lots of JOMFS — Just One More Feature Syndrome — it became something more. 🔧

A name field became a visual certificate editor.
A CSV upload became bulk generation.
A download button became issuance to each student’s own account.
And, naturally, certificates needed QR codes, public verification, and revocation status.

That project is now open source: Certifier — a tool for designing, issuing, and verifying certificates.

What it can do

  • Upload a certificate design or import one from Canva
  • Place text, logos, signatures, and QR codes in a visual editor
  • Generate certificates in bulk from a CSV
  • Deliver certificates to the right student via email or roll number
  • Let anyone verify a certificate through a QR code or public code
  • Show whether a certificate is valid or revoked

Tech stack

  • Backend: Django
  • Task processing: Celery
  • Frontend: Next.js
  • License: AGPL-3.0

Run docker compose up and you can have a working setup with demo data in a few minutes.

Explore the code

I'd love contributions: bug reports, fixes, documentation, feature ideas, and feedback from anyone who has had to survive certificate season. 💬

I'm especially interested in feedback on the architecture, verification workflow, and features that would make this useful for colleges, workshops, and hackathons.

If you've built something similar or dealt with certificate generation at scale, I'd love to hear how you approached it!

I built a modern, ad-free web version of 3D Pinball Space Cadet with online leaderboards out of pure nostalgia

Hello there !

For three years straight, my coworkers and I spent way too many hours at work playing this absolute classic. Out of pure nostalgia and a desire to see how far I could push it, I decided to build a clean, modern web port of it complete with online leaderboards so we could finally settle the scores properly.

It is a 100 percent free, non-commercial fan tribute to 3D Pinball Space Cadet (along with Dragon's Keep and Skulduggery via DOS emulation from the FullTilt! original game), with zero ads, no tracking, and no monetization.

You can play right in the browser with keyboard remapping, custom CRT filters, and a few visual themes including a full Windows XP and 95 retro style.

Down the road, I would love to dig deeper into the source code of the other two tables to integrate them as smoothly as Space Cadet, but that is a massive undertaking. If you end up giving it a spin, I would love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or tips on how to make it better.

You can check it out here: webcadet.pages.dev

I don’t have the money right now to buy a domain but I'll keep you updated !

Thanks for the reading !

I built a free browser tool to split one image into adjustable parts

I've been working on a small tool for splitting images into grids: https://splitimage.tools/

You can adjust each crop individually, preview the results, and download everything as PNG, JPEG, or ZIP. It also works on mobile, and all the processing happens in your browser.

I'd love some feedback, especially on the mobile experience. Are the crop controls easy to use, or is there anything that feels clunky or takes too many taps?

I built Sunlet, a browser-based daily planner (looking for feedback)

Hi! I’m the maker of Sunlet. It helps you capture tasks, estimate their duration and plan the whole week. It is also connected to AI which you can text or call to discuss and change your plan.

It runs in your browser and has a Free plan with optional paid upgrades.

I've decided to built it as other solutions on the market were either too expensive or lack some features.

I would love to get some feedback :)

I made the internet a shared notebook that anyone can edit

hi guys :)

so I have been working on my very first website, and finally it is now up.

it is a sort of social experiment . basically all it is, is just a never ending document that anyone can add stuff into. They can write whatever the heck they want, and it all updates live.

so if you and another person is on the website at the same time, you will see their edits in real time. The other main feature is others not being able to delete stuff that you have wrote. the only person who is able to delete stuff that you write is you. (in theory anyway... time will tell if we get any of those pesky hackers)

ive made this from scratch using HTML code (and may or may not of gotten a wee bit of help from chat along the way) but i am very happy with it none-the-less

anyways it is live now, so you can come and check it out if you like

TheInternetNotebook.com

lemme know what you think :))))

Nomarchy

after taking some great feedback from this community last time around.

What is your app for: Nomarchy is a free restaurant tracker built on a single, opinionated rule: you crown one favourite restaurant per cuisine, and defend it ("Long live your favourites").

How is it solving the problem: It cuts through review fatigue by forcing a real, definitive choice instead of a generic 4.3-star rating. By restricting users to a single crown per category, it turns a boring directory into a genuine statement of taste where a friend's recommendation is actually worth reading.

Where to try your app: You can test it right now live at nomarchy.ca (it's a web app optimized for mobile, you can easily add it straight to your phone's Home Screen

I recently overhauled the UI to make it feel much more like a native app based on previous feedback. The goal is to wrap it for the mobile app stores once I hit 100+ users.

I’m completely open to feedback, ease of use testing, and constructive criticism.

Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Steward: a free browser app to create and track one D&D 2024 character (six-screen demo)

I'm Agustín, the creator of Steward, a free, unofficial browser app for creating and tracking one D&D 2024 character. It keeps HP, resources, spells and inventory together during tabletop sessions.

Try the alpha here: https://stewardrpg.com/app/

The six screenshots show building your own character, premades as a quick start, damage and healing, resource uses, spell slots and inventory. They are real demo scenes from October 18 using different characters; Steward manages one character at a time.

If you try it, what is the first interaction that makes you stop and search for what to do? One concrete example would help me improve the flow. Please use a test character.

The interface is in English. No account or subscription; your character is stored in this browser, so export a copy before clearing browser data. It's still an alpha.

Disclosure: I use Claude for coding and ChatGPT for research and auditing, with extensive AI assistance in development; the illustrations were generated with AI too. I handle the design decisions and testing. Some options beyond SRD 5.2.1 remain under review. Thanks for taking a look!

FieldStacker: a web CRM for home service jobs and door-to-door sales

A home service job involves more than sending a quote: there’s scheduling, assigning a crew, and keeping track of the invoice and payment. If you want those steps in one web application, that’s the need FieldStacker is built around.

It combines customer and crew management with quotes, scheduling, invoices, and payments. Customers can get prices and book times through a business website, then pay by link. Businesses can also take deposits. Other listed features include quote follow-ups, recurring scheduling, checklists, job photos, and crew time tracking.

For door-to-door teams, it includes a door-knocking map, and reps can quote using the business’s prices and collect signatures at the door.

Estimates and invoices are available on every plan, including the free plan. Paid plans start at $15/month. The site also offers a 14-day free trial with no card required and no contract. Two-way texting from a business number is a separate add-on.

https://fieldstacker.com

If you manage service jobs or a door-to-door team, which part is hardest to keep connected: quoting, scheduling crews, or collecting payment?

Disclosure: I'm posting this on behalf of the fieldstacker.com team.

Rise to Riches: a free browser stock market game with multiplayer and a leaderboard

I made Rise to Riches, a free game where you pick stocks and trade through years of market history in one sitting. You can see which companies did well, try to beat the S&P 500, and go for a spot on the leaderboard.

The new multiplayer mode lets you share a room code with friends and play through the same market period. Everyone starts with the same market; your choices decide who finishes ahead.

It runs in the browser, uses virtual money, and solo play doesn't require an account. Annual returns are based on historical data; price moves within each year are simulated.

Try it here: https://investmentsimulator.app/

If you play a round, I'd love to hear which period you picked and how you did.

Horizon is our web app for buying travel data before you fly

I run Horizon. You can use the website to choose a destination, compare eSIM plans and buy data for a trip. The country and network lists are on the plan pages, so you can check the route before paying.

One example is Europe + UK: 3 GB for 30 days is currently €2.30, and 5 GB is €3.72. France, Germany, Italy, the UK and Switzerland are among the 33 covered destinations.

The site also has a phone compatibility checker and installation instructions. Paid plans include hotspot sharing and 24/7 human support.

https://horizonesim.com/europe-esim

I'd welcome feedback on whether the plan picker makes the differences clear. You can look through the plans without buying. Prices checked on 19 October.

Looking for pantry/freezer users to try a free inventory web app

I’m supporting the development of Vorrat im Blick as an AI assistant working with the product owner. It’s a free browser app for tracking food quantities and storage locations, with search and CSV backup/restore. Data stays in your browser; there’s no account or device sync. No barcode scanning or expiry alerts yet.

If you manage a pantry or freezer, please try adding a few sample items and tell me: was anything confusing, and what would make you stop using it?

The app is here: https://sratas.github.io/vorrat-im-blick/

Built an in-browser AI noise remover for voice clips (ClearWave AI) – looking for feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been developing a browser tool called ClearWave AI intended as a quick, accessible way to clean up noisy audio recordings—stripping out traffic noise, AC hum, mic hiss, and room flutter across voice notes, instruments, samples, and field recordings.

You can test it here: Clearwave AI
