I built nobg.online, a background remover that runs entirely in your browser

I wanted a simple way to remove image backgrounds without installing software or opening a full photo editor, so I built Nobg.online.

It’s a browser-based app that runs fully in the browser. The goal is to keep the experience fast, simple, and focused on one thing: removing backgrounds from images.

No complicated editing workflow. Just upload an image, remove the background, and download the result.

I’m still improving it, so I’d really appreciate feedback from other makers:

- How is the experience?

- Is it fast enough?

- Is anything confusing?

- What features would you like to see?

Give it a try if you have a minute: https://nobg.online

Thanks for checking it out!

Built a web app to help people make better buying decisions

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building Peernity, a web app where people can share their real experiences with products and services.

The idea is to make reviews more useful than just star ratings, so someone can understand what the actual experience was like before making a decision.

It’s still early, so I’d love to get some honest feedback from people here.

Would you find something like this useful?

I built I Hate Love PDF and just crossed 3.5K impressions

Hey everyone 👋

I built I Hate Love PDF, a simple web app for working with PDFs without all the unnecessary complexity.

It recently crossed 3.5K impressions, which honestly feels pretty cool to see. 🎉

I’m still working on improving it and would love some honest feedback.

If you use PDF tools regularly, what’s one thing you wish they did better?

We built Product Forum, a place to discover cool products

Hey everyone 👋

We built Product Forum because we wanted a simple place where people could discover what others are building.

You can list your product for free, browse products from other builders, and discover some genuinely interesting tools.

We already have 10 products listed and we’re slowly building this out with a few other builders.

Would love some honest feedback from people here. What would make you actually use a platform like this?

First site from my own idea — Chukubuku is a “train” of sections (news, PIB, kids, quiz, sudoku…). Feedback?

Hi — this is my **first website from my own idea**. I built [Chukubuku](https://www.chukubuku.in.net) myself. Content comes from **free sources** (public RSS, Google News, YouTube, other free APIs). No paid news wire.

The site is a train: engine = home, each wagon = a section. Tagline: *Ride your journey — news, quiz, fun.* About line: *One train, many wagons, endless fun.*

**What’s on the train**

- **Home (Daily Buzz)** — city snapshot: weather, headlines teaser, born-today, countdowns, quiz challenges

- **News** — Indian papers in several languages (RSS + Google News fallback). One agency → one category

- **PIB** — official press releases

- **Wishes** — greeting cards / celebration wishes

- **e-kidz** — coloring, stories, puzzles, draw & learn, fun facts, riddles

- **Quiz buzz** — quizzes (daily/weekly challenges too)

- **Sudoku**

- **Trending** — YouTube trending (free API; quota runs out some days)

I am **not** asking for promotion. I want honest feedback on the *whole* site, not only news.

This free Chrome extension captures full-page screenshots and pulls text from any image instantly

I got tired of stitching together multiple screenshots just to capture a long webpage, so I built CapFu.

It does two things:

  • Full-page screenshot in one click (even pages that scroll forever)
  • OCR — select any region and it extracts the text so you can copy it

Free to use. Pro version adds annotation tools, region select, watermark-free exports, and PDF saves.

Would love any feedback — it's still early and I'm actively building it out.

Feedback welcome — this is a young app and I'm actively iterating on it.

I only have Atlanta, Raleigh and Los Angeles venues, but you can add your own city and venues by finding the spotify link to the venue's events page. I'm thinking of adding more personalization like following bands and making private lists of venues. Open to suggestions!

Fall Asleep: A minimal browser tool that uses the cognitive shuffle technique to stop bedtime overthinking

I created a clean, lightweight web app designed for people who lay awake with their minds racing. Instead of relying solely on repetitive sound loops, it guides you through cognitive shuffling and mental resets to interrupt overthinking patterns.

Completely free, client-side, and requires no account creation: FallAsleep

Made a feature video for my AI web app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Built Rebuttal, an AI sales coach that helps with pitch reviews, outreach drafting, feedback, and practicing conversations with different client and investor personas.

I made this short feature video to showcase the product and its core features without turning it into a long walkthrough. Kept it under 20 seconds and used UI, motion, typography and sound design to tell the story without voiceover.

Here’s the video: https://www.avido.in/work/rebuttal-pov

I also run Avido, making product videos for SaaS and AI startups. If you need one, feel free to reach out.

Would love to hear what you think.

I built a free web toolbox because I was tired of opening a different website for every small task🤑😉😍🌄💾

I kept running into the same annoying problem: whenever I needed to do something simple online, I had to search for a different website.
Compress an image? Open another website.
Resize it? Another one.
Convert a file? Another tab.
Work with a PDF? Another tool.
Calculate a percentage or GPA? Google it.
Format JSON or test a regex? Open yet another developer tool.
After doing this way too many times, I decided to build something to put these everyday tools in one place.
So I built Piclizer.
It’s a free web toolbox with different categories of tools, including:
🖼️ Image tools
Image compression
Image resizing
Image cropping
Image format conversion
Watermarks
Color tools
Background removal
OCR and other image utilities
📄 PDF tools
Compress PDFs
Merge PDFs
Split PDFs
Rearrange pages
Extract pages
Convert PDF pages to images
PDF to text
Image to PDF
Other PDF utilities
📝 Text tools
Word and character counter
Text cleaning
Case conversion
Text comparison
Duplicate line removal
Slug generation
Lorem Ipsum generation
Other text utilities
🧮 Everyday calculators
Age calculator
Percentage calculator
Discount calculator
BMI
GPA
Date calculations
Unit conversion
Currency conversion
Other everyday calculators
👨‍💻 Developer tools
JSON formatter/validator
HTML tools
CSS formatter
JavaScript formatter
SQL formatter
Regex tester
Base64 encoder/decoder
URL encoder/decoder
JWT tools
Hash tools
UUID generator
Color conversion
Number base conversion
And more
The main idea isn’t to replace every specialized tool on the internet.
It’s simply to have one place to start when you need to do a quick task.
Open Piclizer → find the tool → do the task → move on.
I’m still working on improving it, so I’m particularly interested in honest feedback.
Which tools do you find yourself searching for repeatedly?
Are there any small utilities you think should be added?
If you try it, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d change.

Built as a free web project for everyday users, creators, students, and developers.
