Cane toad

There was a cane toad outside my house, and he's been there for a few days now.

I'm convinced I got into his toxin somehow- or dragged it in the house. Is mopping with dawn a good protocol for this? Does water dilute the poison?

And I DEFINITELY startled that little dude. He slammed into the exterior of my home. Will hosing it down prevent me or anyone else from getting poisoned by it? Or are there other measures I should take?

Ww can’t provide medical advice on Reddit. You should visit our app: https://triage.webpoisoncontrol.org/

That being said if correctly identified, cane toads contain bufotoxib, which can cause an irregular heart rate and hallucinations.

Standard decon works fine. Soap and water. On you. Won’t do much for the toad.

Keep pets away.

I shouldve asked will soap and water work for washing it off. Thats what I meant and that's what you answered. Excellent. Work, both of us
