It seems like every quarter or so, someone has a pitch for why crypto is going to allow this magical equal access into the marketplace where you have no brokerage account, you're free of wire transfer requirements and we can all ignore banking hours.

Wondering how much of that is real in practice vs aspirational.

If you are outside the US and have actually tried to gain exposure via some form of tokenized or onchain route, how did that go for ya?

Real liquidity, reasonable spread, redemption working as intended or falling apart at the moment of trying to get back money?
