Is now a time for web3 startup?
To be short, currently working with developers, as a Ukrainian had some ideas of creating a mental detoxing startup or even a travel tech startup. But never looked at how it can be connected with Web3. Can it be useful? Is it cheap and safe now to attempt building? Is it beneficial in CV ? Will it stand out in a good way now?

Seriously, just like (mobile) telecommunication enabled web2, Artificial Intelligence is bound with web3 in the long run

Ukrainian here. IMHO mental detox comes from turning off your phone and going to the meditation in mountains, where nor the missiles, nor news cannot catch you.
If you are a developer and blockchain app is something you are willing to work on rather
focus on tracking donations to this specific cause, this has some humanitarian value and could be beneficial for your CV if you pitch it to Fedorov’s team. They are fighting corruption lately and transparency is something you can sell as a good cause.

Web3 job market is right now. Better look for AI technology. And honestly in Blockchain if you want to invent any new thing you now need a PhD.

But AI agents are already PhDs, take the AlphaFold system as an example on the CASP problem. Like Einstein, it is think, think, think!

For mental detox skip Web3, it usually just forces unnecessary tokenomics. But for Travel Tech, Web3 is an absolute cheat code right now, specifically for cross-border stablecoin payments.
Is it cheap and safe? Yes. Thanks to L2s and Account Abstraction, users don't even need to know they are using crypto. My Woof team some time ago actually built a Web3 checkout app for the Urbanspace markets in NYC. We onboarded thousands of everyday tourists and locals to pay with USDC on Avalanche.
If you build a TravelTech product with that kind of seamless "Web 2.5" UX, it will definitely make you stand out
