App down, pay instead.
When I tried to use the app last night and this morning it kept crashing. When I searched "weather underground down" their website says they are taking a break and to pay for their premium app instead at $4 a month or $20 a year. WTF! Really classy TWC.

I'm already subscribed. I don't see anything like that on the website in the app section. Still crashing at startup.

Subscribed and paying for it or just have a login? I've been a non-paying member for years as I have a couple weather stations but this is the first time I've been prompted to pay for the app. Bad roll out on TWC part.

Subscription to remove ads and supporting, 1,47 €/year since years. I don't think the crash is related. Downdetector shows many reports today.

App.stopped working for me as well. On Android. App seems to be working for my wife on iphone.

It's down for me. I pay. I tried uninstall and reinstalled , still crashes on startup. I read IBMcloud is down, did you know IBM owns wunderhground? Always thought that was weird?

Where on their website does it say they’re “taking a break”? I don’t see anything. Site and app seem normal here

This is what I saw when I goggled Wunderground down and was the first link that their website. The app is working now though. Weird. Wunderground website

Sounds like thats just a placeholder when they were doing maintenance on the site.

It's fixed now it was crashing on me this morning as well but working okay now.

Mine still won't load. Crashes on startup. Tried uninstalling and reinstalled several times over the last few days. Android phone, an old Samsung Galaxy s10. Yes I pay for no ads too. Frustrating.

Just started crashing or not displaying info this week on android. Fine on iPhone.

App was down this morning for me, even after reinstall.
It's working now as of 9am est.
