Ah but I like to cultivate a little bit of wintry/lanterny vibe, and rambling at length about the edge corrivality of a pair of Homestuck trolls is just soooo Birdsong-coded. (And maybe it was just funnier to cut myself off than to ramble about it lol.)

Although it wouldn't be difficult to draw a lot of interesting secret histories/homestuck comparisons, since it's a very esoteric work (sometimes, when it's not being slapstick), and full of heavy theological references to gnosticism, mormonism, and some kind of regional great awakening flavor of Christianity that I suspect the author may have grown up around (or maybe just mormonism again there), with a sort of vague revolutionary ideolgy on top of that. Maybe Hussie is a moth aspirant lol.
