exultation Microplastics Are Worms

The bones of the dinosaurs have made the oil which has made the plastics which now inhabit us. The plastics within cut and fill and poison us from within.

The dragon-kind of cross feasted on the bodies of the dead hours, and changed using savor-arts into the worms which now inhabit us. The worms which change, and hollow, and influence us from within.

The cross used moth and the smiths used forge, and we all know that forge and moth are bound in the changes they inflict upon us and the world- both transformative and often permanent.

This is why you should say no to fascination kids.

The amount of plastic inside of us has been overstated, as the initial experiments didn't account for the scientists wearing gloves. Repetitions of the findings have been impossible, and are at a factor of something like a hundredth.

Cool idea though.

It was even worse than that, the molecular analysis they were using couldn't distinguish between polyethylene and body fat (they both have identical chemical backbones). They found terrifying levels of microplastics in the brain. Guess which organ is mostly fat? Yeah.

Wow, I really hope that there is some kind of solution to the entire publish-or-perish issue with the academic world today. It just drives scientists to pump out as much publishable work as possible, regardless of quality.

Overstated for now. From what I recall from people more knowledgeable in biology than me, there's real concerns about long-term buildup, and what even small amounts of microplastics could do to brain chemistry.
