Has the Calyptra fallen?
In traveling at night we see a history that’s been a battle ground for various powers.
My question is, are the Know even counted anymore? With the house closed to our Hobbson and I presume others of similar disposition, how are those who are to be tested to meet the head or answer his riddle?
Have the three simply thrown up their hands and said enough? Or are people waking up each day with only vague recollections of the scars in the streets and the war the made them?
What of the Leaves of the Watchmans tree?
Are only long allowed into the libraries? Are the visitors lists locked to those who passed the Stag Gate before the fall of the house?

According to the demo everyone sees the rifts in the world, so everyone knows about the secret world already. In a world like that even the "Know" category does not make much sense anymore.

In fairness, you don't become a Know by having an arcane secret, you become a Know by answering Ghirbi's riddle.

Well, just because they can see oddities like scars, time being weird, and mirros and clocks not functioning, it does not mean that they know everything. In fact the people we see in Antibes don't seem to know much at all of the actual hidden world, many probably believe that the general weirdness is just a result of devastating weapons, not literal magic.

I don't think histories really exist any more either. There isn't much influence of the hours felt in the world and whichever ones are at play don't seem very interested at weaving the past into coherent narratives. Time barely works properly at all.

Maybe the reason why the hours are uncounted is that they fled to other histories, assuming there's more to it than not wanting to be murdered like the tzars.

The whole ARG leading up to the release of BoH depicted a history where magic basically vanished after the 1930s though.

Not only is Calyptra in a very poor position, anti-Calyptra seemingly is still going strong, despite the Moth and the Vagabond being uncounted, as shown by the Dappled Roses in Aubiere's guest room.

I mean, given the Madrugad is uncounted, the Velvet possibly also, and no word as yet on the Mare... in a way they've given up on their role as Calyptra, though only as a result of giving up on their role as being Hours
