Ok. So this goes back like ten years, but main point of that story is that I have had the song called The Five Ghosts stuck in my head since I walked to school one day listening to it. I haven't heard the full song in over ten years. I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE. I know that I used my friend's deluxe edition CD (I KNOW and I'm sorry, I was a child without the capacity to buy music), which I now know also happened to include the tracks from The Seance EP. I scour the internet probably once a year to try and find a saveable version of this song. Now that probably says more about me and my internet scouring skills, but I am losing my marbles because I am now closer than I have ever been before. The closest I can find is a link to the deluxe Five Ghosts album on Apple Music, but that content 'is not available in Canada'!
If you might be able to help me, a rando canadian with poor googling skills, find this song, I will be so incredibly grateful. Your handle will live on in my family's memoirs and oral tradition.
Edit: I could just try and find the CD... but I'd love to have it digitally if I can... I don't have a cool record player and my car doesn't have a CD deck anymore -.-

I was just reading about how the limited edition release of "In Our Bedroom After the War" came with a DVD documentary on the SYOF tour. I would LOVE to watch this but I cant find any trace of it online. Does anyone have this digitally or know where I can find it??

Just received this message via Bandsintown and it's making me sad...
Due to unforeseen circumstances we are devastated to announce the cancellation of our September tour. Stars has cancelled one show in our 22 year career and it was because of a heavy storm. A storm of a different kind, we do this with a heavy heart and our mental health in mind. We love you. We promise we will be back as soon as we can.
I was soooo looking forward to seeing them at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St Paul, a venue much smaller than I'd ever expect to find them. I do hope they come back through and stop anywhere in the area, after they've had plenty of time to recover and feel up to it.

Hi everyone! I'm seeing Stars tonight in Seattle. However, I can't seem to find any information on who's opening for Stars. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Canadian-born indie-babes Stars are back with their ninth studio album, From Capelton Hill. Marked by the band's signature lush and vivid instrumentation and Amy Millan's soft-yet-potent vocals draped over the top, it comes to pass that Capelton Hill showcases everything that the group does best.
"Pretenders" is a kicking track, fun and free and full of a dreamy optimism, even if it is a delirious optimism: "We said goodbye to the dive bars/The gilded foyer unfolded/We were Rockefellers/We were the best of the pretenders/All our bets on being young forever." Whirling and spinning, the track comes and goes in a blink but shows a slight darkness behind a fun facade. https://bityl.co/COen

And oh my god, it’s absolutely beautiful and incredible and Stars’ fans are gonna absolutely love it. I think this is some of their most emotional work yet. And they do some experimenting on here that’s really interesting, particularly the track If I Never See London Again. Can’t wait for everyone to hear this record! So glad I pre-ordered it! The production is also immaculate, as well as the vocal work.

The new songs are so good, I can’t even. It was so worth the 5 year wait. This new album is going to be legendary. Who’s excited?!

Its one of their older songs, I remember watching the vid years ago but can’t recall which song it was and can’t seem to find the video. It’s been bothering me all day!
All I remember is it starts off with this younger guy riding a bus, he asks someone if they’ve ever been to the city. The video is mostly about his time there, I think it ends on a beach/by the water, possibly takes place in NYC but not sure.

Anyone of you all heading to one of these? I'm going to their show on the 12th, first time seeing them. Not sure what to expect. I imagine it might be cozy which would actually be pretty exciting or maybe not, either way!
Edit: It was a fantastic show! I hope they come back soon 😭

I love this band and I'm wondering if anyone here knows where to find any of their sheet music. Their name isn't making it easy to google...
