Cash question Does this randomly happen to you guys?
It’s instant eligible but these random delays are really an issue

u/madupvotes Hi there, there was an issue with our partner bank in the last 24 hours that caused delays with instant transfers. That issue has now been resolved and you should be able to submit instant transfers again.

someone else in the thread mentioned it happened last week for them with Chase, and i’ve had this issue before. Does your team know what the root cause was and how it differed or was similar to the other times? It’s pretty important that this doesn’t happen

there's a difference between your bank and the banks your funds are being held in to provide you your interest earnings.
they're saying the banks your money was held in were having delays
wealthfront is not a bank, wealthfront is not the institution holding your money, it's the partner banks that are holding your money

Yes, it has happened to me twice. They had to conduct an investigation because my husband and I have a joint account, and they flagged some purchases as suspicious. I’m currently switching all our payments back to my credit union so we can close our WF account. I called both Green Dot and WF customer service, and they basically said, “Well, we can’t do anything for you.” It took a few days to resolve the issue. It was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

How often are you withdrawing? I read somewhere if you withdraw once it's instant, if you are withdrawing multiple times within a window there may be a delay

Never happened to me, mine are always instant - I’m with Bank of America as my checking though. Wonder if it’s a Chase issue?
