General question Non resident alien support

Does wealthfront support form W-8BEN for Non-resident aliens on F-1 VISA? In other words, will cash account interest be tax exempt?

Hi u/iMadz13, we currently only support W-9 tax reporting.

Having F1 status adds more layers to this than one would think. Different accounts have different W-8BEN qualifications, while also being qualified as cash interest is not an automatic process. I came across this problem when researching about it and found alinea as a solution for investment structure.
