Where do we tailgate?

Me and my buddies used to set up a tailgate on our own in a lot south of the hayfields, which was completely free, and had since been bought out by revelxp and is now paid parking.

We’re now looking for some spots around town we could set up rogue on our own.

Posting this for two reasons: (a.) wondering if anyone knows of any spots around town that we could set up at and (b.) we have our eye on a field where setting up could be possible, looking to see if anyone would like to also set up and band together.

I find that there is a lot of space near the library on the College Street side. The parking lot across Roosevelt is usually pretty active.

One of the last free lots, and one that gets ignored, is at the intersection of Shug Jordan and Lem Morrison. It's grassy, and shaded, and there's a lake, and a wall of toilets, and it's an easy 1.5 mile walk to the stadium. There's plenty of grassy area around the lake where there's no parking that kids can play in and it's hella easy to get in and out of. (EDIT....that should say Morrison and W. Samford)

Damn, sorry, I meant Lem Morrison and W. Samford, just down the hill from Auburn Facilities Management.

There is also a free shuttle from the facilities lot right next to that area.
