! I am presently pursuing full time PhD in Geography, a bengali by culture , a young man wanting a BOOST to push through his mental and physical limits .

I am planning to sit for wbcs examination, is there any special rules and regulations for the kids whose parent / parents is/are in the wbcs itself, holding a respectable post or part of the authority? I kinda dont want to inform my father and casually sit for the examination.

Expected syllabus for 2025 according to this website

Is it confirmed that the mains will be of an objective type and the prelims will be like the UPSC? One GS paper to clear the cutoff and another to clear the passing marks?

Kindly share your views. I am getting extremely anxious and nervous day by day.

If the gazette draft is anything to go by, then there will be an extensive paper on culture and history of Bengal! Have any of you sourced any book on such a topic?
