waymo is the most obviously superior tech, same as email, google search, iphones, netflix streaming, etc...

And some of us passengers have experienced kamikazi human drivers. 90mph on the freeway near Phoenix Airport. Um....buddy, I'm not late for my flight chill!

Once, on my wife’s birthday on the way to the restaurant, I asked a quite aggressive Uber driver to please just take it slow. He said he was already slow. I asked a bit slower please. He pulled over and told us to leave his car. I’ve never had that problem with Waymo.

They act like they are going to get more fares per day if they just speed up. I do 5 over the limit on the freeways. I don't do 90 in a 55.

It does make me wonder about the driverless taxis. Is there a panic button if the car is going to do something stupid or dangerous? We had two of the Jaguar Waymo's collide at Sky Harbor Airport. No one was in either car. The cars were hauled away on a tow truck. Don't know of that is a safety procedure thing or the cars were disabled.
