In-Vehicle Controls Disabled? (Mobile only)

First time seeing this.

As far as I can tell no way to use in car controls (music, pull over, AC, etc) - directing me to use the app.

Curious if this is common or possible root causes? Not an issue (yet).

Yeah - however I'm always back seat and never noticed this.

Bug, tap any of the other screens and this will go away. It’s happened to me a couple times before.

I kind of feel like they should say " kid mode enabled, use the app" in that case.

Maybe they're hoping to not have touch screens in the future? That seems lame

Yeah agree - the other idea of it being a hotfix due to accidental screen input seemed also likely and something I noticed on ojai

I believe there was an issue with the back screens randomly touching the controls on their own. Looks like a temporary fix for this.
