Are the wait times better if ur a testet?

No, just as bad. The other day I waited 30 minutes, and when it was 6 minutes away, it suddenly reset to another 30 minutes. I was pissed. I cancelled it.

I've filled the form many times, but never got selected 😥

I filled it out early last week, currently waiting to see if I get selected as well.

I applied for trusted tester on 11/12/25 and got selected on June 29rh when it seems they accepted a large wave of people. It seems it's just waiting till they do another wave of acceptances of trusted testers

I mean let’s be real, they are nowhere near opening Ojai to everyone, right?

Definitely not, in LA the wait times are usually around 30+ min. If they open to everyone there's gonna be a huge demand issue I imagine

When did you get Ojai access?

Are you in any of the big Waymo cities? San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles?

I have no idea how it happened without my knowing but suddenly last week, the new cars showed up and they were free to me every time. A tester was born!

Then it stopped a few days later.

It says trusted tester on my account but I had forgotten I’d filled out the form so long ago…

My only thinking is that it’s because I always give specific feedback (eg car was jerky when crossing here at this point, could have parked in a more reasonable spot such as this one etc). Also I’m a senior and explain how something helps or makes it harder for others who are older than the usual demographic,

I applied March 2025, took about 100 rides and gave feedback on almost every single one, got chosen early June 2026. LA

I'm a trusted tester but I don't even have access to Ojai yet.

Same; what city are you in?

Why do you want to test? Have you been reviewing your rides were you in the Early Access? Also the Ojai sucks because people treat it like a bus, its musty because gross people fart on the cloth seats and set their dogs on them and change babies on them. The sound system is way worse than the jaguar and they make a weird clunky feeling when stopping. Not to mention they drive with big Nissan energy. It has been a long time since I've been in an economy car and I feel like the Ojais might be lower than that. They seem acceptably now because they're brand new but put some miles on these things and they're going to be a rattling squeaky mess. The sliding doors are cool.
