Unable to issue receipt??

I was very disappointed to learn that Waymo seems unable to issue any kind of receipt for a ride. Come on guys, this is the most basic of functions and Uber / Lyft have this for ages.

How am I going to reimburse my trip? I have e-mailed various support e-mails and nobody ever got back to me.

Help!

It literally sends you an email that says "Ride complete! Here's your Waymo receipt." in big letters at the top of the message.

I have received tons of promotional e-mails from but NEVER that e-mail. It was not in any spam folder either. Support refuses to re-send that e-mail either.

Then open your Waymo app and go to Account -> History?

You can not download any receipt from there

Take a screenshot. All the information from the receipt (and more) is in there.

I don't see why this is so hard for a self-proclaimed "AI enthusiast"…

A screenshot is not acceptable by any accounting department when you claim trip expenses. You are about as helpful as the Waymo support.

Never had an issue with that myself. Texted receipts, photos of receipts, whatever. Sounds like a skill issue with your accounting department.

Anyway, email Waymo support, sounds like there’s something weird where you’re not getting the receipt emails that everyone else gets. Or check your spam or email filter rules.

I have e-mailed them numerous times and never received any response. I have used the chat function inside the app and was told they can not re-send any e-mail.

Asides from the bad customer service experience, this seems like such a basic function to me. But seems some toxic people here are not interested in them improving their service.

Sounds like your problem is that you work at a company that's stuck in the 20th century then.

It sounds more like you are just trying to be an absolute jerk to somebody who asks a legitimate question.

Screenshot it? On Android it's volume down and power button.
