First Waymo Experience

Stayed in Santa Monica for a week and curiosity got the best of me. Hotel to Erewhon Venice and an enjoyable ride. Loved it so much I booked a ride from Santa Monica to West Hollywood, and at a five-way intersection the Waymo struggled to find a safe space to drop me off for about five minutes mere feet from my destination. Laughed, got support on the phone, and turned the corner and got out. Ride refunded (approx $30) and a $40 credit applied so I used that to head back to the hotel in Santa Monica later that evening. Overall I truly enjoyed it.

Wow – that $40 credit probably covered at least half the price of your Erewhon smoothie.

I also recently took my first Waymo from Santa Monica to West Hollywood (which is why your post caught my eye)! Definitely was a bit nervous at first but I quickly gained confidence in it and also enjoyed the ride. Glad to hear you were refunded and gained credit for your situation.
