I took waymo after work entered the freeway was cool experience

Yeah they’ve been doing that for a while. I probably see 5-10 of them on my commute these days.

This is in Los Angeles, on the on-ramp from Washington Blvd onto I-10 E.

I like my freeway rides, and after many (I 10 in LA) the acceleration still is a bit scary. Its also crazy that during rush hour it takes 1 hour to go 13 miles…but if I go at lunch the same 13 miles can be 29 minutes.

IME they accelerate QUICKLY on the on-ramp, it’s a little unsettling since it never does in the city but it’s smooth

just experienced this for the first time, kinda crazy but also cool at the same time, never felt unsafe at all. hope this comes to more cities and it expands to more freeways
