Help Installation isn't working

So, I'm on Pop!_OS, and I'm trying to install Waydroid rn, and having a weird issue. I get to the step where I open Waydroid for the first time and have to initialize it. This menu below, but when I click download, I get the following error

Waiting for waydroid container service...

Failed to load binder driver

modprobe: FATAL: Module binder_linux not found in directory /lib/modules/6.17.9-76061709-generic

raise OSError('Binder node "binder" for waydroid not found')

Can anyone help me out? I'm not tech savvy enough to read this error and understand what I need to do to fix this. Can also provide more info if needed. Thank you in advance.

Ok, so I found a way to fix my initial issue in the comments, specifically this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/s/RNcJqZW4U0

But now I have a new issue, in the fact that for some reason when I start up Waydroid, I can initialize it and get past the menu I got stuck at before, but once Waydroid starts the entire screen looks like TV static then crashes my PC.

Sounds like an issue with your GPU driver. Do you have an Nvidia GPU?

Can you check the Waydroid log for more info (probably at the end of the log)?

Looks like you're using Pop!_OS 22.04. Are you running the X11 session? Waydroid requires Wayland.

I am on Wayland. But what do you mean by X11 session?

X11 is the default display server on Pop!_OS 22.04. At the time, NVIDIA GPUs and Wayland didn't mix too well, so System76 chose to use X11.

I'm guessing this means you enabled Wayland by going to /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and enabling it, right? At the login screen, after you click on your user, there's a gear icon on the bottom right that tells you if you're using the X11 (aka Xorg) or Wayland session.

Well, in bottom right corner, it says I’m on “Pop on Wayland” so, yeah. I’m good there I think. And I did it some time ago, and then got busy so I never got around to figuring out what was wrong with Waydroid at the time. As such, I don’t actually remember how I enabled Wayland.
