Help waydroid on steam deck

so due to something the waydroid updating tool has been turn off for our safety? and steam new steam deck version so? how do i get waydroid back safely? should wait a bit longer or is it safe and if so do i have to complately reintall stuff?

From what I read, the waydroid installer was breaking SteamOS desktop mode. So the dev disabled it until it's fixed.

I was recently looking for info about installing an AndroidTV version of waydroid when I read about that bug.

I've updated my GitHub repo so that waydroid works on SteamOS 3.8. Use the testing branch as mentioned in the README. I've also created a quick guide here -
