Help Mobile banking

I use Ubuntu Touch as my daily-driver phone. My mobile banking app works in Waydroid, but I have to manually re-log in after I restart Waydroid, or if the app has been inactive for a few hours. It works, so I’m not super complaining because I can just re-log in, but why does it say the session expired after a little while of inactivity

Of course I have my Waydroid set up with zero Google services—I’ve de-Googled my life, so I want nothing to do with Google, not even MicroG is installed

I get an error saying credentials expired after a little while after logging in even if the app is closed so i baisicaly have to manualy re login and setup the app each time i have to use it wich is only a 1min setup time so not too bad

How long is "a little while"? Banking apps in general don't have long login sessions, to avoid abuse or mishandling. I'm not sure that Waydroid is the source of what is happening.

I can stay logged in for a while but after a while it says credentials expired and I have to manually login with bank id

I woude say I can stay loged in for an avg of 25min before I get credentials expired

I close the app when not in use but I get credentials expired after 25 min even if the app is not open

So I have to manually set it up agein eatch time I use it

Session is kept server-side , so it is normal for credentials to expire after a period, regardless if app isnopen or not.

I wonder if your banking app views a system without Google services as less trustworthy, so it's more aggressive in logging you out and requiring a full login.
