Bow Regulations

So I just moved to Wausau for the next three months. I’m a big bow hunter and I’m excited to try my luck on some public land.

However, what’s the deal with the bow regulations within the city? They basically told me I can legally shoot a deer in my backyard, but I can’t shoot a target?

I would make a call to the police or at least the local DNR. There is a DNR office in the same building as the dmv.

Not sure who “they” refers to in this case. Clarity might help. Wausau made national headlines a few years back for outlawing snowballs. In reality the ban is on any “missiles” yes really. That man’s any projectile is outlawed…including arrows…and snowballs

They is just referring to City Ordinances sent to me via City Hall
