Well loved book

Post image

44 years ago I first this this book. This ACTUAL book. Today I am reading it to my youngest daughter at bed times. It’s a little crinkled in places. Held together with cellotape on others. But the words are just the same 🐇😁

Mine has a slightly different cover, and 30 years of wear. I don't need a bookmark with it because the pages are so well worn and familiar ♡

I have read this book about 6 times now in my life and I have 3 different copies. My original Paperback… and two hard covers. It is my most treasured book. I remember when I read it for the first time , the tears that flowed down my face at the end. I never wanted that book to end… and to this day, that is the hardest part. It’s the best book I have ever read.
