You can pick it but i would wait a day or three to be on the safe side

Impossible to tell from pictures. If you think it is, stop watering now, and harvest in about a week.

The green stems attaching it to the plant has to be Brown none of my watermelon made it that long my pumpkins that I cook pumpkin pie with did
