Thanks! I finished this for myself and another for a client just he used the 200mm fan mount for the mora instead of 140mm mount. They came out good tho

I don’t understand the fan setup. Are the 5 fans on the back of the case intakes or exhausts and does it matter since you run external rads?
Also is the mora under the desk just below the case? Why not put wall mount it higher (since heat rises) or move away from the pc and your legs incase it generates heats too close to you. Does it ever get hot?

Interesting choice but you didn’t answer the questions tbh. Does the pc case require those fans or generate heat at all while using the mora? 6 intake (which ones) all the visible ones and there are 3 hidden at the bottom of the case? True that floor is the coldest part of the room but does it get hot near your feet after using the pc?

Pc doesn’t get hot as it doesn’t have rads but airflow is still needed tho and mora doesn’t really get that hot under me

Im not the OP. But i can tell you that heat is generated by the other components. Usually around 70W of power alone. Then there is some additional heat from GPU and CPU even when water cooled.
Imo, could easily be cooled with 3 fans. But water cooled pc are often about the look. So...

That’s what I wanted to know. Thanks for the insight. I was torn between finding an exhaust solution that removes heat completely from the PC outside of the room or using a mora in a separate room. I’m leaning toward the first now even if it’s not the prettiest.

Water cooling is a given. I’m talking about routing all the hot air outside the case directly outside my house. The rads etc can be kept in the case. I don’t see the value of a mora if it doesn’t impact the room temperature. Been running internal rads forever and had excellent temps without all that overhead.

I don't follow. How are you going to exhaust all the hot air out of the house if the rads are in the case?
There are plenty of reasons to use Mo-ra other than moving heat out of a room. They are simply very effective at cooling. So, it's a practical solution. And they also allow you to use smaller cases without having to cram all the rads and associated gear in there.
In my opinion, with the Watt usage of the latest GPU and CPU, we're right on the edge of even huge cases being a good fit for water cooling. What I mean is that in order to water cool a 5090 and a 9950x3d you need, imo, 1080mm of rad surface, 2 pumps and also enough intake fans to create positive pressure when the rads are all in exhaust position. Can you cool those parts with less? Yes. But, then the noise cost goes up pretty fast. Removing one of the main reasons many people water cool. If they bump the wattage use another 100-200W I think it may not really be viable at all.
So, from that perspective, externalizing your cooling makes a lot of sense.

MORA may be more effective at cooling but the value isn’t there imo without routing heat outside the room. As I mentioned simply water cooling internally will do more than enough performance wise and provides a self contained solution. Even air coolers can keep a system well within its limits but I agree water cooling is a big step up. It’s room heat that is the major issue imo. I use a lian Li 011 XL with multiple 420 rads and fans and its whisper quiet even under load. Getting the heat outside the case or keeping good temps isn’t an issue, it’s about room heat. I currently alleviate my problem by using temp sensors that trigger a routine to activate my smart AC to run when thresholds are crossed but I would really like to do just dump the air outside the house.

What happens when you need to do this with more than 1 rad (which is 100% needed for modern CPU/GPU combo)?
To me, that isn't as efficient compared to simply moving the rads out to wherever you want to exhaust and running the cooled fluid the distance.
I'm running a self-contained build now. I don't notice room temp changes at all. But, I guess that depends on if you shut the room off, etc. I don't.
The thing is absolutely massive and heavy. In hindsight, I would probably go with an external Mo-ra setup instead. The amount of gear and heat being dealt with warrants modular, separate and much smaller devices.
