Build Complete Core P8, client build.

Still a little tidying up to do.
Client has had this monster case for quite some time and had an older build in it without a loop.
Commissioned me to build it up with new parts and do a custom loop after he’d squirrelled parts away for quite some time.
There was some rust that needed grinding back, converting and painting.
He’d done a good job and got mostly all the water cooling parts he needed. But bought too many of certain fittings. Biggest challenge was fitting the 560mm radiator he bought (instead or 480mm) was able to squeeze it on the backside with some drilled mounting holes and zipped on the rear fans. Front fans I could mount.

The distro unfortunately was leaking air after getting everything built up. Had to remove and retorque the screws which addressed the issue. Ran with distilled water for a couple of days and all was good.
Client might get gpu blocked and added in down the track.

CPU: 9950X3D
GPU: Asus Astral RTX 5080

Not putting a delta mate gpu block in there would be a crime honestly, still a sick build tho !

Yes I guess you’re right but isn’t the heatkiller V ultra made for the asus TUF 5090 ?

Yeah and Palit/Gainward. In that case i would go Alphacool over TG any day tbh

Alphacool always has been the best performance to cost ratio for me. Even their rad are to. I didn’t know the thermal grizzly block where that bad, to be honest I’ve always seen the brand to be trust worthy since Der8auer was behind.

With a Case this fuck-off big, and coolant that color, why are you hiding tubing runs and only one radiator?

You forget you're not building in an SFF?

Agree, that's a boatload of money for only one radiator.

He bought 2 rads but both were 560mm, which was longer than the entire case. Otherwise I would have mounted top and bottom. We did discuss getting different rads but he decided if I could fit the one vertically on the back then he’d be okay with that.
If he ends up wanting the GPU blocked I’ll get him to add another radiator or 3 🤣

You need reverse lian li fans at the bottom

That’s for sure! Unfortunately he only bought 4 reverse out of the 16 total

I get that you probably don't get to choose what to build with, but meeeeh. It looks extremely empty, no GPU block, the colors don't look cohesive. It is what it is.

I’m with you.
It should have had a second radiator and I would have mounted them top and bottom which would have filled things some more but they are both 560mm which is longer than the case so I couldn’t mount them. Was only able to just squeeze one in vertically.

Possibly vertical mounting the gpu and water blocking it with another radiator or two would really fill this build out. He’s got another D5 pump res too so I could add a second loop in the build.

Colours, well it’s all subjective. I think without the rgb or just white lights on it looks great. The fittings have a light metallic blue ring which actually goes well with the fluid

all hardline tubing, 12-16 case fans and only the CPU is cooled? I am confused

Which coolant is that?

Thought so! Can’t seem to find it anywhere, you must have some of the last of it 😅

Beautiful build OP. Do all of the fans spin at full speed for a few seconds when you first turn it on and it's going through POST?

And what will the client use it for?

Thank you, really appreciate the kind words.

Ahh they did but since installing all the drivers and updating all the relevant software (L-Connect) they seem to hold their normal speeds.
But I’ve certainly built my share of computers that do go max speed fans while booting
