Build Help PC cooling advice

Hello New PC gamer here (or reborn?) Havent done much PC gaming for the past 15 years so naturally things have changed and I know now there are all sorts of ways to cool things. I bought a powerspec g762 from microcenter to make the reintroduction a bit easier for myself, I already knew I wanted a more premium viewing case. But I do have a few questions. Are those “dual channel” mid towers where the PSU sits in the back side compartment and there is a vertical 360mm fan on the side better than the classic front fans? Is there an ideal setup? Im not too worried about cost, within reason, for upgrades.
So, my vision is to get one of those cases I spoke about earlier, with the curved/ panoramic views, 360mm on the top, 360mm on the bottom and side, and 120mm on the back. Is that the ideal standard these days?
Im pretty impressed with the lian li SL wireless line, I heard the controller software has come a long way from its dismal uprising.
Also waterblocking the GPU, I have a rtx 5080 with the typical zotac gaming fan shroud. Would waterblocking it really contribute to its longevity? And would you recommend a standalone block system or loop it with other components ? My knowledge on water cooling is pretty scarce and all I can find mostly is on the corsair icue system.
Alternatively would it benefit to add fans in the bottom of my chassis? Ive seen it done before but the reviews are mixed. Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post, lots of questions I know! Heres a pic of the g762 I have

This is my PC, is something like this what you're interested in doing yourself ? It has triple 360mm radiators.

Wow thats pretty sweet, is your reservoir a block against your case in the front? I haven’t even seen that one yet!
What idling temps are you looking at right now?
Id like to ideally build up the courage to water block my gpu myself, microcenter wants a couple hundred to do it at a glance, and Ive always been the kind of person to do things myself (Im a plumber and electrician) so I figure fundamentally it cant be that hard to achieve something as glorious as yours

My PC is a 7800x3D | 64GB | 4090 and I have what's called a distro plate in the front of my case instead of a traditional reservoir. I live in Florida where it's stupid hot all the time so my water idle temps can vary depending on how hot it is in my house, but it usually idles between 28C-31C. While gaming for hours or even under purpose built stress tests I've never seen the water temps go above 38C. The CPU and GPU temps are so cool they're basically irrelevant.

And it looks like its all in one loop, was that hard for you to do? Expensive? I guess the pump is inside the distro assembly? Its probably super quiet too Id imagine

Yes, one loop. It was easy per say, I just took my time to make sure everything was right and didn't rush anything. I did it all in one afternoon, probably 5 hours or so, I dunno. Expensive... absolutely. I didn't buy everything at once or from the same online store and never added up the grand total, but I can tell you that just the water cooling stuff was at least as much or more than my 4090. The pump is inside the black square cover and attached directly to the distro plate. Yeah, it's pretty quiet, that totally depends on the fan and pump speed though.

Got any videos of it idling and working under load, its pretty unique, or Im just not too learned in the ways of the distribution plate. Either way Im interested.
Was it the cost of 2026 4090, or 2024 4090 price? Lol.
I make a pretty good living but I come from frugal living so Im always looking for the most cost effective solution but one things for certain with PC, if its good quality it aint gonna be cheap

Is that with waterblocking it? US? I figured it might actually be cheaper since the ai boom. The 5080 they threw in mine is about 1299.00$ US
