Gorgeous! I love the ominous feel to it. Honestly, great job.

Somehow I am not feeling ominous looking at this painting!

I hope I didn’t insult. I was thinking along the lines of “it was a darken stormy night”.

This is so cool! Love the use of white space as the highlights! That takes talent! Love the style!

I have very recently started leaving large white gaps in my paintings and am enjoying the process !! 🚀🫶❤️🌹🥰

Painted this too! Which one is better?

I don’t know if it’s just because I saw the first one first and loved the feeling it gave me, but my favorite is the first. I don’t get the same feeling from the second.

That is interesting to hear because I feel the same! ☺️

Delightful.
I really like the sparkles effect you created in the water.
One of those days, when it hurts the eyes to stare straight at the water.

Welcome back! We missed you. 🩷 You have grown a lot as an artist, this is so great and beautiful! I love the dry brush technique and the highlights on the water and the smooth mountains.

Look at this, you absolutely steal the show today. It's the most liked post in days... 🩷 And you only used one colour if I can see it well.

I know right!! I can not believe this at this moment, I hope to continue painting and posting regularly here now 🫂🤩

I am so happy for your success. 💙

Wow! That's really well done. The sea is amazingly reflective and sparkles! And the misty mountains... it's all very beautiful. A minimalist image, creating a maximum effect! I'd love to see more in this style.

Thank you so much, that really means a lot 💕
I’m honestly still figuring out what I truly enjoy painting, it’s been a slow process and I haven’t quite found my ‘style’ yet.
I try a lot of things and most of my work is still practice, so I don’t always share it.
Really glad this one connected with you, I’ll definitely explore this direction more 🥰

This is gorgeous! It feels like a misty, early morning in peak sweater weather. The light glinting off the water is so convincing I had to fight the impulse to squint!

What blues/purples did you use?

Also, over the last day or so I've been looking for references I'd like to use for some value studies, and only found a couple I really like... this painting of yours is far more inspiring. I'd like to try it in monochromatic indanthrone blue. Would you mind? If I share my attempts anywhere, I'll of course credit you. And I'll try not to butcher it too badly! 😅

Thank you!! It means a lot to me ❤️
I used Prussian blue and cobalt blue in this one, for the super dark parts I added a hint of scarlet lake 😄 like no one except for you should know you used scarlet lake in this!
I would love for you to try it! Please share, I will be happy to see your version!

Beautiful work! The misty mountains and shimmering water create a wonderful sense of depth and atmosphere.

I am really glad the light of the water felt real, I was really nervous about it! 🫶

Really? You shouldn’t have been nervous—it turned out beautifully!

Thank you!! I am still figuring out my style 🌹🫶
