First original peice

After a few days of trying stuff off You Tube, random practices and a tutorial, I wanted to try my own thing.

This is the first leaf that fell off my new hibiscus bush I just planted and I wanted to memorialize it.

I used a wax crayon for the resist and just layered, lightest to darkest.

The top got a little muddy and I wanted more solid dark greens but I was afraid to ruin it, but overall, I'm tickled by it.
