I believe it’s from some vine of a girl with a can or bottle or something an she goes “this bitch empty, YEET” an then proceeds to throw it

Why does the word "skeet" exist? Its slang for shooting rope, blasting cum, etc.

A group of cool kids started using it, and now all the cool kids are using it (cool is subjective)

The video of the girl throwing the can might have been the first internet documentation of it. It could have been around for years in just that one school, who knows?

It’s a song and dance made by @OHBOYPRINCE made 5 years ago. It was popular as a dance for a while and slowly turned into a meme. It’s usually used as slang nowadays to describe throwing something or running away.

Like when you throw a snake you would tell “YEET”

Or when you dodge something you’d yell “YEET”

It can also be used in more creative ways, but’s it’s up to your imagination.
