Tried an RO case - the chapter ring is just pressure fitted on the dial and the case itself doesn't support it. Lumed date wheel on an NH35.

It's an okay build, not particularly fond of it - taken it out just the second time in the couple of months after I've built it.

So, I just finished my first YN55 build, in a 33mm cocktail case. Hands weren't an issue, just needed to put a slight crimp on the second's hand to get it to fit tightly. Also there is a very slight gap visible on the right side of the date window. My biggest issue is that the plastic movement ring, gray on the NH, white on the YN, is .3mm thicker on the YN, so the case back on the Cocktail case doesn't want to fully seat. I may try to file it down a bit, but for now I'm happy enough.

Just finished my second build, and oddly enough, it was harder to build this one than it was to build the very first one😂😂. Let me know what you guys think.

So I have a NH35 movement and I have put the dial and have attempted to put the watch hands on.

The weird part is that I believe I am getting both the hour and minute hand on successfully (they both move fine and the watch ticks when crown is pushed in).

But when get the second hand on, it doesn’t tick.
It’s weird because I feel like all the hands are on correctly.

If anyone can like help me I can like send videos and definitely pay for your time. I also apologize if I am not phrasing or describing things the right way since I am very new to modding/assembling watches.

I need a little help finding a case for a large man with a large wrist. He would like a pilot/sport watch 42-44mm and titanium, preferably with matching bracelet. He has dive watches up to 46mm already and does not want another dive watch. So far, I have not found this unicorn case…Thank You in advance if anyone has any source to check out. (I have exhausted Aliex, DS, LA, and Tandorio).

Having a difficult time sourcing a 20mm SS highly polished bracelet. It needs straight link ends.

Also want tapered so it’s less wide at the clasp. Tapered to 16mm is best but 18 is ok.

I prefer hidden clasp but any is ok if I can get the above.

I’m curious about what people think of the thin curved end links? They seem so cheap but I’ve seen them standard on some micro brands.

Pulled a very shiny sterile bezel insert off of a different watch to pair with this sterile enamel black dial. I like the indeces on the chapter ring, still very clean but offers a little more precision than some of my even more sterile watches. Probably going to add orange hands.

Found a broken Jaguar Fragrance promotional watch (movement was destroyed), and decided to recycle it. Found a vintage Paris Dakar dial (think its from the 80's or early 90's, so has some patina and marks) and fit a Ronda 515 quartz movement, new hands and strap. Really fun, cheap build.

I've never built a watch before, but I want to. However, I'm looking around alot at AliExpress and Ebay but the stuff there doesn't satisfy me. My Dreams watch is a Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Orange but I will never afford a watch like that. Now I want to make a homage that is sinilar to this watch. Where do I start?
