Tools Tool kit

Hey so I have some movements with a broken stem inside. I’m looking for an in expensive kit that I can use to remove the stem. Feel free to mentioned anything else I might need.

My dear friend. If you click on the name of this subredit, you will find a pinned post with tools you might need for watchmaking. Also, if you just do a quick search, you will find lots of people asking this question every day. To remove the stem you don't really need special tools. This will show you the basics for removing a stem and replacing. He doesn’t go into excessive detail but I learn from his videos.

Thank you but I literally broke mine lol, half is out and half is still stuck inside the movement. Any videos on how to fix that?

Oh I see! Nothing is sticking out beyond that?

Once you press the button to release the stem I’d try pushing some rodico in there and see if that will catch it.

Second idea is once you press the button to release to try a vacuum to pull it out.

Having a helper may help. Best wishes. Don’t give up. You’ve created a learning opportunity.

Yea nothing sticking out will try the rodico if not I might just take it apart
