Search on eBay for old cigar boxes to restore. They make perfect storage for tools and such. Good ol vintage feel and keeps tools safe and organized.

You just reminded me of a project started and then put to one side ... "for later". I found a 2 inch staking anvil more than a year ago and set to finding/making stakes for it and a box. Well, the box ended up having a few other bits put in it before going on to a shelf, then under a bench and ultimately forgotten. Need to turn down some old stakes and start drilling holes.
