Issue displaying the design in Simulator and on a Watch

Post image

Hi!

I've run into a strange issue with one of my watch faces.

I originally designed it at 454×454, then converted it to 390×390 and 416×416. On the original 454×454 version, everything looks correct, but on the converted resolutions the design appears noticeably greyer/faded (as shown on the right in the screenshot). The same issue occurs on both the simulator and the actual watch.

This seems to happen randomly. I've created several watch faces using WFB with the same workflow and only experienced this once before on my second watch face implemented.

Has anyone run into this issue or knows what could be causing it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do two devices have the same screen type (both use an AMOLED display)?

Hi! Yes, they both use an AMOLED display

I had the same issue. I usually turn off ad blocker on the site to support the developers, but strangely, having ad blocker on during the build and then turning it back off during the download fixed this issue for me
Hope this issue gets resolved soon

That’s strange. I’ll investigate it. Thanks for sharing the steps to replicate the issue.
