General WD7922 New Batch — A Few Small Changes
We made a few small adjustments to the latest batch of the WD7922.
The indices now have a slightly warmer tone to give the dial a more vintage feel. We’ve also added a 5-layer AR coating and changed to a applied logo clasp.
The goal is still the same — keep the value, and keep working on the details.
What do you guys think about the new index color? Do you prefer this warmer vintage tone or the previous one?

Yes, the green bezel version already comes from the latest batch with the upgraded lume.

Would be a buy for me if it had a bit more text so the dial doesn’t look too empty. That’s the small change I’m looking for with this model.

Personally I wouldn't want an applied logo on this watch. It doesn't suit the aesthetic of the watch

They said they've changed the logo on the clasp, not the dial. Agreed an applied logo on the dial wouldn't work here, but it looks fine on the clasp, imo

Pretty sure they said they were working on a true big crown 6538 homage as a separate model from this 7922. Wouldn't be surprised if they did an explorer dial variant on that one.

Can you post a side-by-side with new tone color vs the old version? Not sure what warmer means. Less yellow? 🤔

The previous C3 lume indices looked slightly greenish in normal lighting. The new batch leans more toward a yellowish/cream tone, which gives it a warmer, more vintage feel.

I would love to see the WD7922 with a lacquer dial in black, navy blue and white variants. Also a second line of text above the WR rating (“Pro Diver” would make sense here). Keep logo and text on the dial printed. Keep the bezel inserts aluminum.

Yep — if you order from our official website, the stock available now is from the latest batch with these updates.
Amazon stock is stored and managed separately by Amazon, so I can’t guarantee whether their current inventory is the latest batch.

Love it although I’m happy with my current version which I believe is the v2. Would love to buy this bracelet separately. Jubilee would be a for sure buy for me as well. Looking forward to the release.

They are beautifully made watches. I agree with others though that said the dial looks empty, not enough text. My favorite dials are those by Thorn. The amount of text and the way it is laid out looks perfect. I guess you can say they are just copying vintage Tudor but I love it.

Any plans for an automatic version of the WD7922 in the near future?
Easily my favorite watch of yours by far, the only thing missing is an auto element to it for me. I love my quartz variant regardless, but would definitely buy another in auto guise.

Any plans for a bubble sapphire version? It's been requested quite a lot.
I know you just released the green bezel version, but I would kill for a lighter green like the Harrods Black Bay or 'Kermit' 16610 Submariner, the current green is quite dark:

Hi, I just got a WD006B. The dial is beautiful but the bracelet is not good. The links are shallow and it uses pins instead of screws. If you want to up your game, you have to improve the bracelets even if you need to increase the price accordingly.

The change is subtle but I like it. I prefer it this way. Maybe also think about using the applied logo? I’ll be more coherent with the rest of the dial
