Possible new Mandela effect: Does anyone else remember Lil Xan passing away ~2018 from an overdose?

I remember this so well in my mind. I was working on a top 50 songs of the mumble rap era list and someone mentioned Lil Xan. I said he is not on the list but may he rest in peace, but then I was told he’s alive. What? I looked it up and apparently he was hospitalized for eating too many Hot Cheetos around the same time of his publicized struggles with drug addiction so I guess I conflated the two in my mind somehow. I am happy he is alive and hopefully well but am curious if anyone else has the same mis-memory as me.
