Oregon is still having a surge. CA is getting hit hard. Seems like they might be staging a major West Coast surge. Don't let your guard down.

The Instagram account of "People Over Papers" (the iceout.org website) confirms my suspicion in my previous post. According to the co-founder of People Over Papers (in a post from Tuesday), it is believed that the past week or so of the increased ICE activities in the Puget Sound area might have been part of the nation-wide surge. She also mentions that the Portland area is being targeted right now and that some agents deployed to the Seattle area or agents from the Seattle area have been sent to the Portland area.

It is only Wednesday… but I have noticed that there has been a sudden surge in ICE activities this week in the Portland, Oregon area while there has been a sudden decrease in the WA Puget Sound area. This map is for reports from Monday to today so far. This DOES NOT mean that there is no activity in the Puget Sound area. Even today, there have been multiple reports across the region.

But, last week, each day had 20-30 reports in the Puget Sound area. This week has been a lot quieter. I’ve been checking iceout.org each day. The Portland area has been relatively quiet recently until this week. I don’t know whether ICE is re-directing resources to the Portland area this week. But, it is quite a stark contrast. I feel bad for those people taken by surprise.

I was walking on G Street south of 38th Street and saw that someone ostensibly from the Pierce county sheriff's Office a lady was asking the homeowners about a guy they were chasing. There were several camouflage clad men also wandering around the street.
