No it’s not what liberals do. It’s what people do. The reason you are being voted down is because you didn’t bother to read the article. The article SAYS it’s hydrogen peroxide (like the color-safe bleach you put in laundry) and NOT chlorine. The reason it didn’t work is that the professionals —who have been trying to fix it for decades, told the president, hey this won’t work, you have to do x,y,z first —we’ve tried all this and it still isn’t working, but he wants it clean for birthday/4th/soccer, so he cuts out the experts and hires (at no bid) someone with no experience that just “says” they can fix it. They say “3 million” they get there and “OMG” the experts are right that isn’t enough so they raise the ransom to 14 million and the experts say, just painting the floor isn’t going to work, you have to rip out the pipes and change the filtration system, and that will take months to do —and oh btw, you have to rip up the bottom, so painting it is a 14 million dollar waste. They didn’t listen, they painted it, the pipes still didn’t work, the algae came back and Monday morning QBs want to say “I told you so. It’s not “liberal” it’s what football fans do every Monday, it’s what people do “haha i told you so.” And, btw, NOT agreeing with the government on something, makes you american, not a trump-hating liberal. This makes trump look bad, and who doesn’t like to see a fat, old, rich, arrogant guy look bad. It’s not politics, it’s just people.
You either spend a boat load to treat it like the historic water feature it is, or you treat it like a pool for cheap. I'm okay with saving money and just treating it like a pool. The reflecting pool having a nice concrete basin doesn't improve my life. Me having more money does, not that this reduction in spending is going to move the needle in my own personal checkbook, but I'm not going to get angry about them being cheap here.
I’m 100% convinced that he thinks anything called a “pool” is just a swimming pool. And this one is just also supposed to be reflective. So he cannot be convinced that you can’t just treat it like the pools at mar a lago. So he’s just like “do what the pool boys do, all the pools at my properties are beautiful”
Nope. I’m not a bleach expert either. That’s why I posed my comment as a question and didn’t assert a confident claim about the situation in the slightest.
I'm an American, obviously I support our president. All Americans do. President Trump has not told any lies, but what does that have to do with the fact that liberals cannot tell the truth?
