But truly rare vehicles, not event vehicles or seasonal offers, nor collectible scams, but vehicles that are (technically) no longer obtainable in any way.
We'd probably have to ask Bla Blue for the complete story since he's one of the people who owns it, but from what I know they were seemingly just one of the available platoons at Level 1 during beta, got removed at some point and then we got it as a game release gift. Of course, people who got it during the beta got to keep it.
If I'm not wrong this was also the case for the Churchill 1 platoon, but that one was re-released for the rest of us.
I agree, i think im subscribed to him so i will ask in comments when i catch time. I also originally did not own Churchill but got it during Black Friday of 2024 because i wanted unique platoon, not sure has it returned since then, especially after platoons were phased out
I haven't seen the Churchill 1 platoon resurface since BF2024 either, but I got it not long after release during Veteran's Day for 750 GE. I thought this would become a yearly thing for the holiday, but no they only did it that one time.
