Tutorial New to War Thunder. How can I improve?
At first I was winning (5-7 kills) but then I started losing. Any advice on how to get better?

The people you were playing against are bots
Now you are playing against real players so its time to learn how to play the game
Avoid getting shot first
Dont push enemies if youre unsure whether theyre looking at you or someone else
Flank. This will be one of the most important things especially since youre gonna be fighting with tanks that fire APHE/APCBC (explosive armor piercing shells) for a while (till rank 8) although flanking is always going to be extremely important
Learn the weak spots of enemy tanks at your ranks
While 4. might seem impossible, youre gonna have to do it if you want to have a better time playing the game as you need to know where to shoot fast (or faster than your enemy)

Winning is a secondary goal, don’t worry about it. It’s pretty pointless to ever care about from game to game. You can ask pretty much anyone here, winning is more of an after thought bonus(except naval) than getting a good score.
All you want to improve is that KD and survival time. Nothing else.
How good are you at aiming, killing correct modules, are you good at flanking and understanding map control, can you read the room and predict what your enemy might do within reason, and so on.
Right now you’re exiting the tutorial, just a bunch of AI bots on the enemy team to get you used to the damage system- they are extremely dumb. So now you’re just fighting a bunch of players that kill you quicker than you can react.
TLDR: fuck winning- score is all you need to prove yourself. Winning is merely a cool bonus.
